I have always been drawn to water. From the ocean to a stream. From a lake to a swimming pool. The way water moves, and flows mesmerizes me. How it is ever changing and never looks the same twice. This is what draws me to work with resins as a medium. It is a liquid that changes with every mood. And it never looks the same twice. That is the challenge and the frustration. It’s like trying to control water.
I use many different pigment types to change the color and mood of the resin. The depth and vibrancy of the colors and how they work with and against each other never ceases to amaze me. Resin draws me in. Just like water it ebbs and flows and learning to go with that flow in this world of ours is what keeps me coming back.
