Natural stones of all colors, textures and shapes have always fascinated me and I rather stumbled into jewelry-making while visiting a rock collectors store about 15 years ago. What began as playful experimentation with all the beautiful stone and crystal beads became another art medium in which to work. I then also started collecting vintage and heirloom jewelry, taking them apart and incorporating into my designs. I wonder about the history of the old pieces. Who wore them and what stories and secrets did they hold? I also seek out beads and metals from all over the world and so describe my jewelry as an eclectic mixture of the old and the new. I search for and am inspired by truly unique components and hours of experimentation. As a result every piece of jewelry I create is one of a kind and impossible to duplicate.
